At FeatheredFriendsHub, we are committed to the health and happiness of every bird we place in a new home. Because we sell live animals, our refund and return procedures differ from those for standard merchandise. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.
Live Bird Sales
All bird sales are considered final once the bird has left our premises or been shipped. This policy helps ensure the health and safety of our birds, as we cannot risk reintroducing animals that may have been exposed to outside environments.
Health Guarantee
We take every precaution to ensure that all parrots, canaries, and finches are healthy and well-adjusted before leaving our care.

Each bird comes with a [X-day health guarantee] (e.g., 3-day, 7-day, or 14-day) from the date of purchase or delivery.

If your bird shows signs of illness within this period, please contact us immediately with veterinary documentation.

Upon confirmation from a licensed avian veterinarian that the bird was ill prior to purchase, we will offer a replacement bird or store credit.

Refunds for live birds are not typically issued, but exceptions may be made at our discretion in rare cases.
Cancellations

Orders for live birds may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if the bird has not yet been shipped or reserved for pickup.

A [10–20%] cancellation fee may apply to cover administrative and holding costs.
Non-Live Products
If you purchased accessories, cages, toys, or bird supplies, our standard return policy applies:

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

Items must be unused and in original packaging.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product arrived damaged or defective.
Shipping and Live Arrival Guarantee
For shipped birds, we provide a live arrival guarantee when:

The customer is present to receive the bird on the first delivery attempt.

The delivery address is correct and conditions (temperature, timing) are suitable for safe transport.
If a bird does not arrive alive under these conditions, we will replace the bird or issue store credit.
